Carlos Tellez has accepted the position of Technician Team Leader

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Carlos Tellez has accepted the position of Technician Team Leader for the Heartland team. In his challenging new role, Dr. Tellez will work to build a sustainable technician force in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Dr. Tellez will also continue to do training and consultative AltaPreg work within that region, and will use that skill to help position Alta as the company of choice for large progressive farms in the region regardless if they want to outsource their reproductive program or not.

Because of the tremendous value Dr. Tellez brings to our clients, he already has a full AltaPreg schedule through the 2nd week of January, and therefore a transition period through March 2008 will be in place where 2 weeks each month will be spent with current AltaPreg customers, and the remainder will be spent developing technician business in his new region. Starting in April 2008, the expectation is that Dr. Tellez will focus entirely on building a technician team, and servicing the AltaPreg needs in the Heartland team.

AltaPreg needs outside of this region should be sent to Charlie Perotti ASAP so that we can determine how to most effectively replace this position within the AltaPreg team.
