Chris Rood has joined Alta Genetics

Alta is pleased to announce that Chris Rood has joined Alta Genetics as a District Sales Manager for Idaho, effective 12\01\04. Chris will work closely with Duane Pieksma, Sales Team Leader of Idaho and report to Charlie Perotti, Senior Sales Manager, USA West.

Chris was born and raised on his parent’s dairy in Scio, Oregon. He graduated from high school in Scio and worked for a local dairyman in Scio for 14 years. After leaving Oregon, Chris moved to Idaho and worked as a herd manager for 3 years. Chris has very good skills in breeding, large herd management, and calf raising. Chris was also involved in FFA and was showing cows at an early age.
