Ms. Donna Laye Distribution Manager and Global Logistics Coordinator

October 23, 2007 - Ms. Donna Laye has accepted our position as a Distribution Manager and Global Logistics Coordinator in the Distribution department effective November 5, 2007.

Donna comes to Alta with several years of experience in the successful development and implementing of Supply Chain Management processes. She has extensive experience in planning, production and logistics management both domestically an internationally. Donna has held roles such as Purchasing Manager, Manager, Supply Chain Foundation, Commodity/Project Manager and most recently VP Supply Chain Management with Chariot Carriers, Inc. Donna has a Business Administration Certificate, a Strategic Management Certificate as well as certifications in purchasing.

Donna will oversee the logistic process globally but will be taking over the management of the Distribution team in the Balzac office providing Terry White more time to concentrate on the Custom Collection department which is required since the purchase of Independent Breeders earlier this year. Terry welcomes this change and is excited to focus his attention to the Custom Collection department.
