Alta Enhances International Sales Management Team

Alta Genetics has been working diligently to strengthen its business model and implement a focused strategy to create value, build trust, and deliver results. A client focus coupled with the introduction of innovative services and products continue to propel Alta’s growth in retail markets and logically it will become Alta’s focus internationally as well. As part of an international launch, Alta is announcing a major reorganization of its entire Global Sales Management structure that promotes Lieuwe Rozema and Paul Larmer to Sr. International Sales Management roles.

Based out of Alta’s Garnwerd office in the Netherlands, Lieuwe Rozema, Sr. International Sales Manager, will take on the responsibility for Alta’s wholesale markets in Europe as well as the Middle East, Africa, India and Australasia. Assisting Lieuwe in the Western European markets will be Coen Van Rosmeulen, Sales Manager, Western Europe, while Boris Berisavljevic, Sales Manager, Central & Eastern Europe, will focus on business growth in Central and Eastern Europe. Dr. Krish Karihaloo, Sales Manager, Middle East, India & Africa, will continue to operate as Sales Manager for the Middle East sales region, as well as for India and the African continent.

Meanwhile, the Australasian market will be managed by John D McDougall, Sales Manager, Australasia, who will join the company in the New Year. John comes to Alta from the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, in Toronto, Canada, where he managed the Agriculture Division. Prior to this, John was actively involved in the A.I. industry within the international marketing arena.

Paul Larmer,
Sr. Sales Manager, the Americas

As part of the restructuring Paul Larmer, Sr. Sales Manager, the Americas, will take on the overall responsibility of the markets in the United States and South America. Assisting Paul in his expanded role, Horacio Larrea, Sales Manager, Latin America, joins the company, taking on the day to day management of sales in the Latin market, leading the wholesale business development in Mexico as well as Central and South America. Horacio, who makes his home in Argentina, is a well known and respected industry person with strong contacts in the region and his impeccable knowledge of the market and exceptional relationship-building skills makes him ideal for the position.

“The changes are being made because we believe in developing strong relationships with our clients and our distributors,” explains Hartmans. “The appointment of team leaders in our main retail markets illustrates our desire to be close to the market and close to our clients. Internationally, we wish to take the same relationship-building approach while creating value for our clients”, emphasizes Hartmans.

Meanwhile, Roger Sosa, Sales & Marketing Manager for Brazil, will continue to manage Alta’s ever-expanding sales in Brazil and its domestic A.I. operation there while developing export markets for Alta’s Brazilian product line. Heverardo de Carvalho, Sales Manager, Brazil will continue to expand Alta’s retail sales operation in Brazil.
An additional element of the changes sees Charles Perotti, Sr. Sales Manager, Global Corporate Accounts, being appointed to head an important new division for Alta, focusing specifically on Global Corporate Accounts while continuing to manage the AltaPreg and AltaMate service programs. As part of this change Paul Larmer will take responsibility for two additional sales teams in the US: Idaho and the Northwest, bringing all US retail sales teams under one umbrella.
