Mr. Kelvin Friesen has been hired as an Alta Dairy Representative I am pleased to announce that Mr. Kelvin Friesen has been hired as an Alta Dairy Representative effective June 1, 2008. Kelvin is replacing Jamie Sullivan and will continue the high standard of service provided by Jamie in the past and will also be supported by Alta’s customer service team at our head office in Balzac, Alberta. Kelvin’s family own and operate Lasaac Holsteins south of Morden Manitoba. Kelvin has a passion for the dairy business, particularly dairy genetics and management. Kelvin has been involved in 4-H and WCC for many years and has won competitions in judging, showmanship, clipping and dairy science. Kelvin is currently enrolled in the Diploma in Agriculture program at the University of Manitoba. Kelvin’s background combined with his strong interpersonal skills make him a valuable addition to the Alta Genetics Inc. team. I would like to quote Kelvin directly: “I look forward to working with dairy farmers. I will assist them in achieving their breeding goals. The dairy industry is evolving and Alta Genetics possess the sires and the programs which can be utilized to increase profitability. ” Please join me in welcoming Kelvin to the industry in his new capacity as an Alta Dairy Representative servicing Southern Manitoba, Elm Creek, St. Alphonse, Morden and Winkler areas.
