Sattler Promoted to Large Dairy Account Manager, May 1, 2007 (Balzac, Alberta) – Alta is pleased to announce that Matt Sattler has been promoted to Large Dairy Account Manager in the U.S., effective immediately. The appointment follows up on Alta’s commitment to provide the large, progressive dairy managers in the country with the highest levels of service available in the industry today. “I am delighted to have Matt take on this challenging position. He brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and skill that he acquired while working with large dairies as an Alta Advantage® consultant,” says Charlie Perotti, Director of Global Programs for Alta Genetics. “Matt also brings a track record of working with large dairy managers to establish progressive breeding programs and make improvement in reproductive performance.” In this new position, Matt will be responsible for building relationships with dairy managers and coordinating the team providing products and services to Alta’s key accounts. Sattler will also help grow and develop a program that fulfills Alta’s commitment to provide the highest level of client service available in the market today. “I am extremely excited to take on this new challenge,” says Sattler. “As dairies expand and manage more cows and more people, their plans require the commitment of a reliable partner. Sattler joined Alta 5 years ago, and during that time he has been an Advantage® Consultant in the Midwestern U.S. covering Iowa, Minnesota and western Wisconsin. He took the initiative to expand his responsibility as an Advantage® consultant by proactively getting real data from his herds to demonstrate the value of certain selection practices, and also has been actively benchmarking his dairies against each other. Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science and Ag Economics. Prior to joining Alta, he worked for the Wisconsin Department of Commerce in the business development programs sector. He and his fiancée, Jess, live in Hudson, Wisconsin, and plan to get married this June.
