Nicole Black has accepted the position as lab technician I am very pleased to announce that Nicole Black has accepted the position as lab technician for the Custom Program at Balzac. Nicole recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a B.Sc in Biological Science; and has been working at the Foothills laboratory in Calgary with the Calgary Health region. Born and raised on a family farm near Crossfield Alberta, Nicole is certainly no stranger to our industry. Her grandfather David Black was one of the original owners and founders of Independent Breeders Service with our current senior lab technician, Nelson Weir. Nicole will be working alongside Nelson and Amanda Engel in her new role at Alta. Nicole has been involved with 4-H growing up and was the recipient of countless scholarships and awards through high school and University. Nicole shows great passion for this industry and the people in it. I am excited to have her as part of this team and ask you to join me in welcoming Nicole to Alta Genetics. Regards, Terry White Posted Oct 22nd |
