Roger Turner will be joining the International Marketing

I am very happy to announce that Mr. Roger Turner will be joining the International Marketing Department, as an International Sales Manager. Roger will be responsible for the business development and marketing in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea. As these countries play a vital role in Alta's International Marketing development Roger will work closely with Lieuwe Rozema to further enhance the market and to provide service to each of these countries on Alta’s behalf.

Roger will continue with his responsibilities in Product Development as Regional Sire Analyst in Canada as well as Michigan and Indiana in the USA. Roger also holds the position as Genetic Manager for the Altagen Nucleus Herd at Coopon Flora, Elmira, ONT.

Roger was hired by Dr. David Chalack on June 10th, 1994. He started his career with Alta in the live Cattle and embryo exports division. He worked with Dr. David Chalack and his team in developing Alta's Rocky Mountain High Sales Series. Once he moved onto his role as Regional Sire Analyst, Roger was then responsible for such Alta Sires as BOSS, CALYPSO, FORTIFY and ARMSTEAD.

Roger is also an International Judge. He has judged Holsteins and other dairy breeds in 13 states in the USA, coast to coast in Canada and in other 8 counties world wide- This year he will judge the Sydney Royal Agricultural Show held March 22nd- 24th in Sydney, Australia.

In his spare time Roger loves to show cattle and make pedigree announcements. Roger has been seen at numerous high caliber sales throughout Canada, USA, Australia and England. Roger resides in Guelph, ON with his wife Brenda.
