Tyson Flaman accepts Programs Specialist Role with Alta

Alta is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyson Flaman to the position of Alta Programs Specialist. In this newly created role Tyson will focus his efforts on value creation for Alta customers using a variety of means to accomplish this goal. On-farm support to assist DSMs in retaining and growing key accounts as well as for prospecting new accounts are primary objectives of the role. Considerable time and effort will also be devoted to creating support materials that aid the sales force in creating value through a program focus. It is expected the majority of Tyson’s time and efforts will be carried out in a Canadian setting, however, other markets will also benefit from his efforts.

Tyson grew up in Saskatchewan in a dairy environment and credits active involvement in the local 4-H dairy club for fueling his love for cattle. A past participant of the Western Canadian Classic 4-H show, Tyson continues to volunteer his time to this worthwhile youth program. Through the early and mid nineties Tyson traveled extensively through North America and abroad earning respect as an excellent cattle fitter. In 1997, he accepted a sales position in Central Alberta with an AI company, a position he has held for the past 7 years.

Tyson brings to Alta a strong customer oriented attitude. He has a proven track record of creating value and an appreciation for strong programs as the basis to grow and retain business. “For the love of the people, industry and the AI business, I am excited to embark on this journey”, says Tyson who began his new Balzac-based role with Alta on January 1st. Together with his wife Kim they make their home near Ponoka, AB.
