Alta Genetics extends its congratulations to Daryl Brown, 2005 recipient of the Lex Bunn Achievement Award presented at International Dairy Week in Australia. In its 4th year, this award is given to a person from the registered cattle fraternity who has exerted a large positive influence on the domestic industry in Australia. Previous winners of the award include Jim Conroy (Manager Semex Australia), Frank Sorraghan (Rockwood Park Holsteins) and David Orchard (Orchard Vale Holsteins and former Holstein classifier)

Daryl is the manager and part-owner of 21st Century Genetics/Alta Genetics in Australia. The award winner is selected by the stewards of the show and previous winners. 'His enthusiasm for the registered sector, countless organized overseas tours and his strong relationships with the youth make Daryl Brown a very worthy recipient” said presenter Mr.Laurie Flaningan.
