AltaLEMMER Daughter Report
Recently, Wijnand Pon, avid cow enthusiast and owner of Alta took time to inspect 10 daughters of the Type-specialist Aaron son, AltaLEMMER. Applying his excellent knowledge of the Dutch scoring system, he evaluated each daughter for the composites and provided his estimate of their overall score. In addition, his comments on the group give added weight to why he should be incorporated into breeding programs in North America as one of Aaron’s best sons.

AltaLEMMER daughters are well developed, fancy and real dairy cows. They possess a beautiful, long sweeping rib, which blends perfectly into their well-attached, shallow udders. Rear udder attachments are good with a ligament that is very strong and very visible. Teat shape and placement is ideal. The shape and positioning of the claw (foot) is good. The AltaLEMMER daughters typically have a topline that is strong and their rumps show enough width but are sometimes a bit flat.
Conclusion:
AltaLEMMER breeds a very consistent pattern. He is a bull that can improve a herd in one generation in many ways. It’s unbelievable how he improves udders in combination with high milk volumes.
