One Million Units for AltaMARSHALL Alta Genetics is proud to announce that 11HO4662 AltaMARSHALL has reached the milestone of producing one million units of semen. On September 26th, 2005, Alta’s Watertown, Wisconsin production crew collected and processed the one millionth unit of his highly fertile semen. What does it take to collect and process a million units on one bull? It takes knowledge, experience, dedication, stability, persistence and a darn good bull. AltaMARSHALL is just that. He has a tremendous attitude, great libido and excellent semen quality, hence leading to high volume production. He averages around 46 billion sperm cells per week! AltaMARSHALL was born on July 6, 1995 at Ricecrest Farms in Chambersburg, PA, bred by Dale and Fred Rice. He is a Mandel son out of the world renowned bull mother Ricecrest Southwind Kaye. AltaMARSHALL arrived at the Watertown production center early in 1996 and was collected for the first time on August 29th of that year, thus giving rise to his illustrious AI career. With the team of Bill Beckman leading bull management and Donna Ludeman leading the lab production, this duo has been responsible for AltaMARSHALL’s top quality production during his remarkable career. Still credit must be given to the entire Alta Watertown Production Team who have assisted greatly in this achievement. Kudos go to Tiny, Scott, Duane, Jeremy, Travis, George, Russ, Justin, Shelley, Dr. Grundahl, Tom, Cindy and Pat for their part reaching this milestone.
