Short Name: MARLON

122JE0101 Super Taco x EX-93% Haug Maid
Extreme Component, High Outcross - MARLON daughters show what happens when you mate the bread leading fat cow (Maid – 7.0%f) to one of the best US fat bulls that we have had (122JE010 Super Taco). While there are other maternal brothers in the industry, there are no full brothers. He is extremely high for components being one of the top 3 for both fat (+0.43%) and protein (+0.16%) percents. Marlon daughters are taller than average, run uphill and provide great width up front (His type specialty would be frames). To add to this, he is the lowest EFI (highest outcross) bull in the Alta lineup and among the lowest in the industry (4.8 EFI). He is also the highest DPR bull in our lineup (+0.9). Solid Production - REGGIE is the new utility bull in Alta’s line up. His daughters are great milk cows (+1015 M) that have sound well attached udders - +1.5 RUH, +1.2 RUW, + Fore Udder and Cleft. Daughters are built to last in modern facilities being of a moderate size with an ideal set to the leg and a steep foot angle. They excel in depth of fore and rear rib and have tremendous sweep and openness of rib. Reggie comes from a deep cow family that has produced tons of milk; the great granddam is an EX-93% cow with over 24,000 lbs. of milk.

Que daughters are clean boned, have angular front ends and a wide, deep rib (+1.4 DF). He’s the perfect bull to dairy up some cows that have gotten a little round or thick boned. MAX is a bull that puts all the right things together for today’s profit minded producers. 2nd crop daughters are freshing and there is continued breeder satisfaction. +0.04% Protein and +0.11% Fat. Max comes from the Wilsonview Maggie Mae family, a family known to transmit great udders, and he is no exception, a breed leader for RUH (+2.1) and shallow udders (+1.6). +1.5 Type, the older cows are moderate to large in stature with deep bodies, an open sweeping rib and well attached mammary systems with lots of veination. Redwood pulls a lot from his maternal line in that daughters will remind producers of Hallmark and not his sire, Paragon. Redwood is a leader for udders - +2.4 RUH, +1.7 RUW and +1.2 cleft. High Fat, Udder Improver. ECHO is one of the few bulls in the breed to be over 2 points for both RUH (+2.2) and RUW (+2.0). Echo daughters are deep bodied, open ribbed and above average for stature.

With their tall, long bodies, hard tops and uphill run, Saber daughters stand out from the calf hutches to the milking string. When viewed from behind, daughters have tremendous spring of rib and they track straight ahead. With the addition of over 100 daughters to his production proof, he added over 100 lbs of milk (+1229M), lowered his SCS (+2.99) and gained JPITM points.

11JE0906 – Short Name: LENCREST – Sultan x Declo Belle EX 94
Quite possibly the most exciting young sire in many years is LENCREST, a Sultan son of Piedmont Declo Belle. This young bull combines many of the best genetic lines from some of the finest breeding establishments of recent times; Lencrest, Piedmont, Rock Ella, Cedarcrest, Sycamore Hill, and Potwell Jerseys. Lencrest is backed by six excellent dams, with the closest three dams in his maternal line being EX-94, EX-93, and EX 3. His sire, Sultan, is siring many show winners across North America as well as many barn favorites. Three females from his direct maternal line are among the top five LPI cows in Canada. This young bull is in great demand thanks to his exceptional maternal line that includes top LPI cows in combination with a dam who herself was Intermediate Champion at the Royal Winter Fair.

BIG TICKET, a Bomber brother to 11JE0876 Big Deal, he combines the best from Waverly Farms (Premier Breeder at the National Jersey show in Louisville 16 times). His dam, Blacky, was Grand Champion at Louisville (NAILE) and Madison (WDE) in 2002. She has been a favorite in the breed for her extreme dairy strength and the fact that she comes from a great production bred herd, Briarcliff Farm. He should sire dairy strength and snuggly attached udders with shallow depth.

CIRCUS NAMED 2006 NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION
Circus was the 2006 & 2003 National Grand Champion, 2005 & 2006 Western National Grand Champion, and 2005 Reserve National Grand Champion. His first daughter to show at the National show in milking form placed 2nd in the Milking Yearling class. Daughters appear to be similar to the daughters of his sire 122JE5063 Avery, in that they have nice udders and develop frame and body depth as they mature. They will be good two year olds that get better the longer they milk.
