Conception of sexedsemen on jersey cows

What are the conception rates of sexed semen like on Jersey cows. I have heard of people using sexed semen on Jersey cows because the breed is so fertile.

Sexed semen conception rates on lactating Jersey cows has varied greatly. Typically, we will see a rate of 15-20% less than what the conventional conception rate runs on the dairy. However, in many herds they are not unbiasedly using the sexed semen on their cows. They are cherry picking first service on first lactation animals that are showing a very good standing heat. In these cases, the rates actually look very similar to those of conventional semen.
While I would not recommend using a sexed product on all lactating cows, if you are going to, I would recommend sticking with the cherry picking method on 1st service young cows and really evaluating the heat before using the semen.
